The first day of school!

Hilarious. First day of school. Sadly,  this is best picture of all that I took. Camera lens is foggy. Carli is pissed off about her new shoes. Lexi is in third grade and too cool for back to school pictures. Gavin needs a haircut, like last month.  Take two on day two!

Enjoying the last days of summer break.

While Carli ditched us for the day for her bff Mia, I had the other two plus a handful more.  Once you have three, more doesn't make too much more of a difference.

Whoever is happy will make others happy too. This girls giggles, similes and love is contagious. Her independence makes me need her more. Her calm soul is the sweetest and most giving. I often have mommy guilt over wondering if she gets enough. They say the squeaky wheel gets the grease and lets just say she is not the squeaky wheel. I pray she gets enough of ME. As a momma I am constantly working on balance and hoping she realizes that she truly fills up a part of my heart each and every day. Carli, my middle, my calm, I love you with my whole heart!
