Oh Christmas Tree .....

We didn't have much space to work with this year but we were determined.  In our old house we had a tree so large that we couldn't enjoy decorating it ourselves.  Yes it was beautiful, but we wanted a change.  Shouldn't tree decorating be a fun event for the family?! This year we made that change.  It turned out to be the best Christmas tree we have ever had.  It was beautiful, perfect and decorated by the kids.

A time of thanks ....

Three weeks ago this girl came home and told me that she WAS going to make team captain. I loudly encouraged her but silently doubted it. You see this is her very first year playing soccer. She walked on a team of girls that have been playing together for a few years. She courageously (and competitively) worked her way through it. That white band you see on her arm .... she DID make team captain. That smile you see her so proudly displaying was right after she received the team captain arm band. Oh and she scored her very first goal today.

We have not had full family photos done in a few years.  It was time! These came out gorgeous.  These are only a very select few that I had edited for a holiday card.  I can't wait to sit down and go through the hundreds of them (yes about 400) and pick what I want for my house.

Marvel Universe Live

Today we went to see Marvel Universe Live.  What a great show.  Superhero's were everywhere! Even the girls truly enjoyed the action packed show.
