A day just for momma ....

These three all amazing, all very different little people have changed my life forever. Each and every day they make me strive to be a better me. To be the best example of a mom, of a wife, of a friend and most importantly of a woman. Motherhood ..... the best thing in the whole entire universe (the hardest thing too!) Happy Mother's Day to me and all the amazing momma's out there.

The girls and poppa heading out for the dad's trip to Club Med. The dads and kids from school go on a couple of trips a year. The kids love going. They swim, party and stay up late.

The selfie of me and my little boyfriend. It's truly like a baby love affair. He's in love with his momma, but I love him even more.

First Holy Communion for Lexi

Today Lexi made her First Holy Communion.  She has been going to her Sunday school classes for two years to prepare.  She was a little bit nervous, but did great once she was there.

We celebrated with a luncheon in her honor afterwards.  She had her family and a few close friends there.  She looked beautiful!

I could watch them play forever. The glimpses of longstanding friendships. Here Lexi recruited them in her quest to save the tadpoles before this was emptied and cleaned. "Collect moments not things." I will remind myself of this thinking of how much I got rid of in simplifying for our move. Never again will I have so much stuff .... meaningless stuff!

Santana concert

Momma and poppa hit the town again.  Two concerts two weekends in a row.  Santana was a great concert, but we both liked Rob Thomas a little bit more.  We were able to have a great night out with a great dinner and good friends.  Making date night an absolute priority is so much fun! What's more precious is coming home to beautiful notes from the girls.

A Fairy Tale Ball .... to include Snow White

Lexi and her class have been studying fairy tales for the past few weeks in school.  Now that the unit has ended, they had a Fairy Tale Ball.  Each child had to dress up as a character in a fairy tale.  They completed book reports, other projects and invited all the parents in for the ball.
