NYC part of our summer vacation

Our first part of our summer vacation was NYC.  Goodness, what a blast we had! We spent three full days there, the perfect amount of time for our 3 little ones.  We had great weather with the exception of one rainy morning in which we spent at the Museum of National History.  Probably a blessing it rained, as we were forced to go to the museum.  The kids enjoyed it and especially loved the dinosaur exhibits.  We did Central Park and all it had to offer, including a festival that they have.  What a surprise to run into my uncle Jon and aunt Mel there.  We went to the Plaza hotel, didn't see Eloise, but ate some great food.  We saw Lion King on broadway ... the kids LOVED this and were true troopers getting through an 8pm show.  Of course we went to Toys R Us, FAO, and American Girl.  Gavin stocked up on more Car movie cars and the girls got another American Girl doll!

Not sure we could have fit one more thing in on those 3 days! The kids had a great time as well as momma and poppa.  Love seeing the world through the little ones eyes.  Can't wait to bring them back again!
