A rainy day and a movie

Poppa was still out of town so the kids and I headed to the movies.  A rainy day is a perfect day for the movies.  We saw Monsters University.  Great movie and the kids loved it.  Downfall ... after popcorn, "blue juice" and M&M's the kids wanted nothing to do with dinner!

A day in the life of a superhero ...

To say that Gavin loves his superhero capes, would be putting it quite mildly.  Gavin lives to catch bad guys and save the world.

Zoo time with the little siblings ...

While all the big sisters were in tennis camp, the little siblings and momma's went to the zoo.  The "littles" had fun running around the zoo.  I think we made it through in record timing! Not sure how many animals they actually saw.  We finished the zoo with the water fountain play and then some lunch.  Gavin came home exhausted.  

Friends reunite!

Carli reunited with one of her very best bff's for tennis camp this week.  To say they were excited to see each other would be a huge under statement.  Perhaps they may even play a little tennis this week in tennis camp.  Something tells me they are in it for the socialization though!

Vermont, the Tyler Place ... year 3

This was our third year at Tyler Place.  We absolutely love it.  This is truly a vacation for the adults as much as it is for the children.  The kids look forward to going back every year.  Now that the kids are getting older and can travel a little easier we may be winding down our years at Tyler Place.  We can only go on so many vacations a year and such a big world exists out there.

We had great weather, only getting some rain for a few hours on one day.  They still didn't let the rain put a damper in the activities ... they were off on the pirate cruise that evening.  The kids did so many activities, too many to put into words.  I will just let the pictures do all the talking.

Momma and poppa even did a few more activities this year.  Poppa even attempted a pretty decent hike.  Woohoo for us!
