Lexi and Poppa are still out in Tahoe skiing, so at Carli's request we went to paint pottery. Carli choose an ice cream bowl while Gavin choose a firetruck. Carli so carefully choose her colors and painted ever so delicately. Gavin on the other hand used a myriad of colors and mixed them oh so nicely. They both had a great time Gavin had a hard time with the fact that he had to leave his firetruck to "cook" it and could not have it back until it got nice and shiny.
After painting the pottery, the kids took a ride on the train and the carousel. We had some dinner and ended the evening with frozen yogurt. The little ones had a great time and momma enjoyed those little smiles as well. We certainly do miss Lexi and poppa though!
